About
I’m a senior engineer with over eight years of experience building production hardware, embedded systems, cloud infrastructure, and SaaS platforms, primarily in the IoT, HVAC, and building analytics space.
Most of my career has been spent in environments where there was no separation between “hardware,” “software,” and “cloud.” I’ve repeatedly owned systems end-to-end—from schematics and PCB layout, through firmware and embedded Linux, to cloud ingestion pipelines, analytics, and customer-facing dashboards. My work has gone beyond prototypes and into real deployments at scale, including thousands of installed devices and enterprise customers.
I’ve worked across early-stage startups, acquisitions, and founding teams, often as the engineer responsible for turning ambiguous requirements into shipping products. That experience has shaped how I approach engineering: making pragmatic tradeoffs, designing for field realities, and focusing on systems that can actually be manufactured, deployed, and supported.
In recent years, my work has focused on cellular IoT devices and analytics platforms for commercial HVAC systems, combining hardware design, cloud infrastructure, and full-stack applications to deliver actionable insights for facilities teams.
I’m motivated by building systems that operate in the real world—where constraints matter, failures are expensive, and clarity of design makes the difference between a demo and a product.
